Textile Blocks...

I ran across these lovely wooden block stamps a few months ago. A dear friend of mine had decorated her bathroom with these things. I questioned her sanity...but why? She proceeded to tell me the history. They have been used for hundreds of years in India, China, and Egypt for textile production. Each one is hand carved from pear wood, and the wood is discolored from all the dyes (I like the dark colors though) - I thought these would come in handy for clay work, and a myriad of other crafty things. So I will try and get my hands on some of these.
